Travel Planning Apps.
As the summer winds down and we try to get in those last minute summer travel moments before school starts—I wanted to share my two favorite travel planning apps with you—TripIt and TripCase.
I really like both of them and at various times have used each of them. They are very similar and really you can’t go wrong with either one of them in my opinion. The concept is simple.
- Forward all your hotel, flight, car rental, restaurant, and other travel items and reservations that you receive to their mail-box (plans@tripit.com or plans@tripcase.com )
- The app tranforms your e-mails into one master itinerary so that all your plans are in one place, segregated by trip
- Access your itinerary from anywhere and any device-either online or offline
- The apps will also provide you with information pertinent to your trip such as the weather and maps
You then have a nice summary of all your trips and associated details right there on your phone—
